Although I totally dig my midnight-black pants, my charcoal-black skirts, my ebony-black tees, my jet-black shirts, my closet is far from dull. I do have my fair share of vibrancy in the wardrobe.
I simply love this bright yellow spaghetti top from Supre. It's so soft I could sleep in it! Needless to mention, it goes with anything too, from your G-Star jeans, Miss Sixties denim mini skirt, to your Hugo Boss tailored pants. I paired it with a reddish-orange knee-length cotton skirt. Initially I was worried about looking like an unriped mandarin orange just nice for Chinese New Year, but it turned out to be not bad at all (You never try, you never know). Last but not least, I need to rave about this pair of Irregular Choice rosette heels in bright orange. So high yet so uber comfortable!
Office wear should not be confined to boring grey suits, dark blue pants or that black pencil skirt. Style it right, and those oh-so-boring managers will even be cajoled to nodding their heads in approval :)
Green- not a very likeable colour to most. Maxi dress- not a hot favourite amongst people like me who has legs as long as their arms. However, it is one of those rare pieces that you know you need to give it a try once you walk pass. The peacock feather prints are irresistible. I actually wore it to the beach once because I was very sick of wearing shorts and tees like everyone else. The dress has a tinge of purple thus I coupled it with a pair of bright purple Martina Pink sandals.
This multi-coloured dress is currently one of my favourite. I bought it at H&M Tokyo without trying. I love all my bustier mini dresses! Another of my recent must-haves are scarves. They are extremely versatile, I wonder why I took so long to discover its magic. This piece is a soft pink Alexandra McQueen-inspired skull scarf worn as hair accessory. Down to the feet, is another pair of super comfortable heels. It has height, it has comfort, it has style. Furthermore, it is cheap. Got it at a local brand called Heatwave.
Other than the usual bright colours, I personally feel that another must-have for the Spring Summer collection is a white bag. White should be the real new black, as it is classic and it goes with simply anything and everything.
